I’m a world traveler turned full stack developer. I spent two years backpacking around the world, adapting to unpredictable situations, handling an array of new languages, cultures and currencies, and using this time as a means of reflection and personal growth.
Upon returning from my travels, I set out to find a career path that would allow me to eventually live a more mobile lifestyle in which I could combine my passion for travel with my own intellectual and professional ambitions.
After a short spell in sales development, I knew I was looking for something more technical, so I began to learn how to code online. As a natural problem solver, I found fulfillment in writing code, solving bugs and learning new programming languages, so I decided to fast-track my new career by enrolling in GA’s Software Engineering Immersive program.
After successfully building 3 full stack applications and 1 front end application, I’ve completed my training with GA and I’m now actively looking for an organization where I can put my new skills to work while continuing to learn and grow as a developer.
